About Us

Festival & Event Planning is owned and managed by Gary McWilliams. Mr. McWilliams has been involved with the creation and management of festivals and events for over 20 years. As co-founder of a very successful festival, Mr. McWilliams worked with city officials and service club members to make the event become a reality. Years later, Mr. McWilliams chaired the festival’s Central Board of Directors. Mr. McWilliams has been involved with several other events, including the creation and managing of the Farini Festival. Other event involvement includes the working with and chairing several fund raising banquets, including Ruffed Grouse Society, Ducks Unlimited, Quail Unlimited and Friends of the National Rifle Association. In addition to Festival and Event Planning, Mr. McWilliams has created three other web based festival and event services:

StepOne Connections

www.steponeconnections.com offers festival and event planners personalized consulting and training services. Services include festival and event evaluation, event creation, event re-vitalization and volunteer training.

Ontario Festivals Visited (OFV)

www.ontariofestivalsvisited.ca is a consumer based website that offers festival and event attendees an insight into "visited" festivals, events and attractions. Each festival,  or attraction is personally visited by Mr. McWilliams and then an article is written and published (with photos) on the OFV website. A series of Radio Features have been developed about the festivals visited and have been offered free of charge to local Radio Stations.
